Broken Hill landscape -trees

Another  thing I love to paint is the lines created by trees in creek beds and in the desert, the creamy white trunks contrast beautifully with the red sand.

These drawings are a little various views of the beautiful desert trees and their colours at different times of the day.

This drawing was quickly sketched before a storm totally overtook the spot where I was working, the dark sky is incredible and the trees stark ini the light.

These drawings were done at Umberumbeka dam (near Silverton NSW) a nice change to draw near water.
