Some Pastel Excercises

Pastel Study - Knee 1992

Had a great time in 1992 drawing various parts of the body from anatomy books, enjoying each body part as an 'art object',  bones are especially beautiful things to draw.

Two pastel studies done for one of my pastel classes, to show students how they can 'free-up' with their style.  Always the enemy of meticulous detail! :)

Three Life drawing studies done in 1988, I really enjoyed life drawing, the body has beautiful lines and is so changeable.
