Some works inspired by Biblical references

Ezekiel is a fantastic book, this is my interpretation of Ezekiel's vision of the throne of God, looks quite scarey, but I'm sure the true throne is quite spectacular and very beautiful. This was drawn in Charcoal on Stonehenge in 1992 (I think).

This was drawn during my 'anatomy' phase. I was enjoying the story of David dancing before the people in his birthday suit - happy down to his bones!

'Trinity' 1998 Acrylic on canvas

Trying to find a way to paint the three personalities of the Godhead, if you look close you can see the dove in the white squares overlaying the red earth of creation - the Creator Father - and the red line that continues past the frame -  the neverending love of Christ Jesus.

This is a panel in a much larger work, using Renaissance symbolism and my own salvation story - I will try to post the other panels when I can .

'Angels' Charcoal on paper 1992

This is from a sketch book - I was (and am) very interested in angelology - trying to see past the mythological creature with the harp - cheesy smile and big wings - to read what has actually been written about them. The majestic creatures they actually are - neither male or female - and much more aweinspiring and powerful than we could believe, angels arn't to be taken lightly.
